Should I get a B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering? - Time Management
| Should I get a B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering? I already have logistical experience from serving in the military, so this is a career field I'm interested in. I'm looking at Rutgers, but am having a hard time choosing which degree to go for. The Engineering program seems like the better choice, but the prerequisites is 3 levels of calculus and I'm a little shaky on that. Also, there is a concentration of Supply Chain Management in the Industrial Engineering program. The Business program seems easier, but possibly more competitive. From what I have read on various sites, it appears that I could do the same jobs with either degree. I want to set myself up for success, and I need to know what career will take me farther. What I want to do in the long run is to work at a consulting firm, and maybe one day start my own. So which degree should I shoot for? |
