Yahoo! Answers: Do all Americanized versions of Christianity seem phony and unet

Thank author of this post/commentLet’s see, there’s the Southern Baptists, the Adventist movement, the Pentecostal movement, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Mormons and the myriad little doomsday and crackpot cults like Agape Ministries and Exclusive Brethren. The USA was created in a time when the industrial age had just begun and mass production, commercialism and capitalism was in its infancy. So it seems that this American ethos was prevalent in the religions that get made up in the USA, right?
